We’ve created this asynchronous interview to thoughtfully and efficiently determine who is best suited for this role — not only based on technical skills, but also alignment with our values, work ethic, and long-term vision.

What to Prepare Before You Begin

Please review the following carefully before starting:

• You must be on camera for all questions

• For four of the five questions, you will be asked to share your screen

• Ensure you are in a quiet environment with a stable internet connection

• Have access to QuickBooks Online or example data as needed

• Plan to complete the interview in one uninterrupted sitting

Recording & Submission Instructions

You will record your responses using Loom.

After recording each response, save your Loom link in a safe place.
You will submit all Loom links later through the online job platform where you applied.

Keeping your links organized is part of the interview process.

What to Expect

You will be presented with five questions, all designed to assess your experience with QuickBooks Online, your problem-solving approach, and how you work through real-world bookkeeping scenarios.

The way you respond will help us understand your level of expertise, attention to detail, and whether this role is a strong mutual fit.
